Vintage Lucky Orange Koi Fish With Gold Balls in mouth Fountain Planter Cachepot Pot Vase Sculpture Asian Oriental Art Vintage Decor For your consideration, we are offering this very unusual and versatile piece. 2 Orange Koi Fish with beautiful gold metallic scales are leaping from the waves, each containing a gold ball in it's mouth. There are also 2 Koi Fish in Orange and Pink on the front of the piece which seem to be wrestling over another gold ball. There are hollow spaces that lead from the fish's mouths all the way down into the pot that lead me to believe this can be used as part of a fountain. This would also make a lovely planter, vase or cachepot. It stands alone and sits flat. This is a rare piece, I can not find another on the internet anywhere. Condition: very good condition considering it was made in the 1950s. I don't see any chips or cracks but there is a bit of wear on the bottom.
