VINTAGE LEATHER & LEAD CRYSTAL INKWELL PEN HOLDER GLOWY URANIUM ART DECO

This vintage inkwell with leather stand / pen holder is from a day gone by when people actually still composed letters & used fancy fountain pens! In an Art Deco style, its on the verge of being an antique, & it’s a sublime treat for the eyes in form & style! The leather base with pen holding cavity measures 5”x4-1/2”, the lead crystal inkwell measures 2-1/8” square. Consistent with age & use, the leather base has some nicks, but the crystal inkwell is pristine, please view pics. Now for the really fun part - uranium was used in the molten mix, so the glass inkwell, when exposed to UV light glows neon green! Use as a bud vase, or for propagating plants, or to hold toothpicks!
