Hi - I am very interested in this dress but unsure of how it fits. Im wearing 14-16 in most Im trying. Is this something you would be able to wear or is it too large I just am unsure of halstons fit

@pronettis I can’t promise that it will fit your body as everyone is different, but I do think it is forgiving in that it has the extra layer over the shoulder. Check the pit to pit measurement in the listing and compare that to a dress you own that fits you well. That’s your best assurance. Thanks for asking!

Thank you !! The pit to pit suggestion was incredibly helpful. The unique neckline style of this dress is my concern. It is that opening that I wonder if you are able to measure. So it would be the opening portion from one side of zipper to the other? The part of the dress that actually goes above one arm and below the other. Does the fabric have any give or stretch?
Even if it’s too big I can order and have it altered if I can get it fast- I need it for a June 1 wedding.

@pronettis no problem! The measurement of the opening from the top of the left shoulder to the right armpit is 18” laying flat (36” total). The fabric provides a little stretch but it’s not “stretchy.” It has a nice weight to it and drapes beautifully.
