Picking wildflowers for someone can symbolize thoughtfulness, love, and a personal connection. It signifies a heartfelt gesture, spontaneity, and a desire to bring natural beauty into their life. It often conveys affection, a touch of romance, and a reminder of the simple joys found in nature. Spoon rings are widely considered to have originated in 17th century England, when people began to make rings from the metal handles of table flatware. In those days, flatware was highly prized. The pieces were typically made of solid silver, and often displayed the family crest of the wealthy family who commissioned, owned and used the pieces. Popular lore explains that, at that time, servants first began to create rings from the cutlery. The servants couldn't afford to buy 'proper' engagement rings when they wanted to get married. Instead, the legend goes, they would steal a flatware piece from their master's home, and shape it into a ring to give their beloved for a marriage proposal. Thus, the earliest spoon rings served as symbols of love and commitment. Symbolizing feminine intuition and inner knowledge, it's also associated with spirituality. This is a handmade sizable item. Sizing is based solely on where it sits on my size Buyers Purchase Agreement; Because the size and shape can be tampered with, no returns will be allowed for sizing or alignment issues I do not take returns on hand crafted items. This is a final sale.

jcbettyb I have bought a ring from you before and asked if the ring could be taken up to a nine or a 9 1/2. You took it up to a size 9 because the band was narrow and you thought that that would work. My question to you about this ring can it be sized up to 9 or a 9 1/2 and if so, which size do you think would be better? Thank you.

madapplepie @jcbettyb Yes, it can be sized up. Because this band is wider, I would do it slightly bigger. Remember the ring does have some size flex because it is not a solid piece.

jcbettyb @madapplepie OK thank you. I’m gonna accept the offer you sent me and then I’ll just put in the note. You make the decision where it needs to be like a 9 1/4 or 9 1/2 if you even think it needs to be bigger then I understand thank you.
