The bags are made in the same factory as Prada bags, with the same quality materials and construction, this one in pebbled leather. The bags are not as well known and do not say "Prada" . Prada bought the original Car Shoe Company in 2001. It was originally opened in 1963 in Milan Italy. I hope that gives you some background on the origins of the name and the quality of the bag.
