The Ceramic Staffordshire Creamware Pitcher with the transfer of US Ship "Ship Sally" on the front and the transfer of the great emblem of the United States Eagle on the back. The design seems to detail a rough sketch of the Great Seal of the United States, featuring an eagle with outstretched wings. Above the eagle's head, there is a banner bearing the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The texture on the pitcher itself appears to be a crackle or crazing pattern which gives it a slightly antique look. It features a classic pitcher design with a handle, spout, and a traditional cylindrical body. The pitcher is adorned with a maritime theme, depicting the "Ship Sally" sailing on the high seas. The scene is intricately detailed, with waves, sails, and the ship's hull, creating a picturesque maritime landscape. The pitcher bears the mark of "Fondeville" on its base, indicating its origin. This piece is perfect on one side and discolored on the side with “Ship Sally.”
