Kings Crown Thumbprint Wedding Bowl, Pedestal Candy Dish with Platinum Band, 1960's Indiana Glass Clear Compote, Vintage Collectible Glass. A beautiful vintage wedding bowl or pedestal candy dish in the Kings Crown pattern by Indiana Glass. The clear glass wedding bowl was used originally to hold wedding cake that the bride and groom took home after the wedding ceremony. The round, pressed glass bowl can be used as a candy dish or mint dish. The broad platinum (silver colored) band was painted on the lip of the bowl. The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Materials: glass, platinum The bowl is 5.25" tall and the diameter of the mouth is 5". Excellent condition esp for its vintage - there is one teeny mark on the silver/platinum band shown in the photos. I believe it is just where the overlay went over the glass seam but wanted to be completely transparent in the listing.
