Chanel quilted crossbody

I love to refurbish bags, especially authentic Chanel. Unfortunately, this is beyond full repair but some refurbishing, painting and restoring it’s looking good. The hardware is in GREAT condition aside from a small chip on the front CC as shown. I was told this bag was likely put on or near a heater. I purchased from an auction, site unseen.
