❄️🌎Sharing Thursday. Jim was mowing our lawn and got stung by bees on both of his ankles. The same exact thing happened a few weeks ago. We assume that there is a hive in the lawn but, where it is is anyone’s guess. He’s shopping at the drugstore for meds to reduce the pain and swelling. He says rear it feels like he is still being sting over and over again and that his ankles feel like they are on fire. @cathyfrangos @modig 💫💫💫💫

@monascollection Monica the same thing happened to me last week I was picking up some debris From The Storm and had my hand over some ground plants and the swarm of these little bees came after me got my knuckle on my index finger of my right hand twice got both my elbows and one on my chest it was horrible can you those things hurt like crazy tell him to try putting vinegar on them it helps the stinging

@monascollection we lost three of our beautiful old 20' tall blue spruces that line our driveway they were all uprooted. lots of Limbs off of our pretty Maples. huge one that landed on our roof and tore off some gutters. broken windows in our garage along with the storm windows. damage to our front shutters.

Tom is back in the hospital with a bowel blockage not sure what they're doing for him yet but they just finished doing CAT scans. had a rough weekend with him and severe pain. so just don't share me for the week I'll try to share as soon as I can

@modig @monascollection Tom has been in ICU since earlier in the week.. he needs surgery for a severe blockage in his bowel, but he is too weak right now go through that type of surgery. Right now they're trying to treat with medications and hopefully he will regain some strength soon. just been a very draining few days.

@modig Trish it's so hard to watch him so weak I feel like he's slipping away from me. I try to sit with him afternoons but he falls asleep and he keeps saying how tired he is. his doctors are just playing a waiting game right now

I have baby Molly 4 days a week for the month until my daughter drops to 3 11 hour work days from 4 and then will have Molly 3days weekly until she’s a year as she’s so tiny it was worrying Brenna too much to put her in daycare and I agreed she’s just so delicate still- long but sweet days.

@modig 🌏❄️Your granddaughter is fortunate to have such a loving grandma in you, Trish. My parents were too old to help us out with the boys. Unfortunately my father passed away a little over 3 months before my sister and I gave birth to our second children. I think that my father would have been anxious to volunteer to help but, it would have been difficult physically with his profound arthritis. You get bonding time with the little ones which is invaluable. @modig💫💫💫

@monascollection I’m lucky because I absolutely have the energy and ability to care for her and that is special if not what I planned on- it’s a limited time so in that sense I’m blessed to be able to have the time with her and like you, my dad had died young- while I was in college, and my mom was not physically up to helping with the kids when they were babies so it is special to be able to help!
