Fabulous and rare vintage Saphiret glass brooch in the shape of a leaf frond. The large marquise stones are all prong set and in excellent condition. The textured gold tone metal is in excellent condition with a secure roll over clasp. The Victorian version of these stones is known as Saphiret, the later 50’s-60’s version as Sappharine, but most simply refer to them as Saphiret. The brooch measures 2 1/4 by 1 1/2”. Unsigned
