The plush feet goes over the kids shoes and the elastic goes under the bottom of the shoes. Normal wear and tear on the bottom from walking on the ground. Small tear in fabric next to elastic but isn’t seen since it is worn under their shoe. The tail swings when the child walks. So adorable and made of really great and soft quality material.
