Extraordinarily stretchy, soft denim, even though it is woven. It has about 20% stretch. Meaning if you take 5 inches of fabric you can stretch it to 6 inches. The only flaw is that you can see a ripple in the fabric when it’s hanging there where it’s stretched out below the tummy tamer area but when you’re wearing the shorts, you can’t see the ripples there. The fabric smooths out and evens out when you’re actually wearing the shorts. They look absolutely fine when you’re wearing them.
