lbpetrescuer @ohhappyday4 Natural mined rubies are minded for the earth which that would make this a true ruby. My jeweler said this was real. I will check with her again next time I see her. Are you sayin this is a lab grown ruby? If so, please send me information as to how you determined that. The pictures on posh show whether it’s a diamond, sapphire, or Zirconium. So I ask before I bought the ring did is say it’s a Ruby?

lbpetrescuer @ohhappyday4 I'm still confused. What machine are you talking about? My jeweler said it was real so I took her word for it. She is a gemologist. I'm not sure it they use a machine to determine if it is naturally mined. And the jeweler I purchased the ring from said it was real as well. He was an expert in estate sales. If you purchase the ring and have it checked out and it is not naturally mined, of course, you may return it.

lbpetrescuer @ohhappyday4 I just looked up how Poshmark gives free authentication for items over $500, which takes a while. So before the item reaches you it will have had a free authentication which protects the buyer and lets the seller know if for any reason something isn't real. If youi decide you still want to keep it then I will of course lower the price to what it is worth. From what I have read some people prefer the lab made because they are more perfect. Naturally mine gemstones with have natural flaws in them. But, people who are willing the pay the higher prices for fine jewelry prefer the naturally mined.

ohhappyday4 Asking if something is lab grown or natural mined is what I would ask on any gem I would buy. I am a July Baby and love rubies. I love most gems. I still like to know if they are naturally mined or lab grown. Same with asking is something real leather or is it man made leather. I be love your closet. Please accept my apology. 😊

I have a good jeweler so I trust her. I did read where some people prefer lab grown gemstones because they are perfect with no flaws and real gemstone do have flaws/ But, like you I prefer the real stones. I believed both my jeweler and the jeweler I purchased it from that is it a real gemstone and not lab grown.

lbpetrescuer @cait9999 I think this may be a lab grown ruby, but will fine out when I go to my jeweler next week. I just gave Honey Boy some meds to help him relax and not be afraid. It is supposed to make him groggy. He isn't due to have his surgery until between 1:00 - 2:00 pm so he is still with me. I will let you know this evening how he is doing. I'm supposed to give him this med every 12 hours for the next couple of days. I hate keeping him drugged, but it should also help his pain.

And yes they are great. I had a great vet but she retired. I've had dogs and cats most of my life and never had vets that were as thorough as these are. I feel blessed to have found them. Can't believe my washer broke today and it is gong to cost $200 to have it refurbished.

It is scary to be this broke, but thank God I think I have enough to cover his bill if they don[t find anything else wrong with him. He is such a good boy. It's like when our children are little and they can't tell you where they hurt. I hurt when they hurt and still do now that they are grown. And I do the same with my pets.
