Hello there friend,
Thank you for your inquiry, this pair of earrings are not flat they are 3D and the edges of the earring have a curvature to them almost like the shape of a contact lease except a little more dramatic of a curvature. The letters themselves are also 3D and they pop outwards from the earring, therefore, it’s difficult to capture a photo showing all letters, we assure you it’s not missing any letters.

The letters cannot ever fall off, due to the fact that these earrings are carved or molded from a single piece of metal the only thing that is soldered on to the earrings is the Chanel logo plaque as is with all vintage Chanel earrings from this Era.
If there were any flaws such as missing letters we would not have the item listed for sale I. Our boutique as we do not sell items with significant defects or damage and would always disclose all flaws if any are present.
