Vintage beautifully detailed serpent bracelet. This stunning vintage piece is by Arthur Pepper & is marked ART. The metal is a rich gold- tone. The body is studded with small diamond-shaped light blue enamel sections. This enamel can be found at the head sandwiched between two red rhinestone eyes. The mouth is open revealing a red enamel forked tongue. This is a book piece and found on page 243 of Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 (shown in white) where the author notes that "coiled snakes are said to be a symbol of everlasting love."
