The knit is so pretty with some vertical parts of the pattern that let the skin underneath peek through. And the intricate lace is absolutely gorgeous, a rich burnished gold color. Almost metallic. The black is kind of a soft slightly off-black that sets off the brilliant gold of the lace. Oh, and it's incredibly comfortable. They made several styles of black top with this kind of gold lace but they're no longer available. I wore it a few times and hand washed it but it ended up forgotten at the bottom of the drawer. It's in excellent used condition.
