This gorgeous timeless squared satchel bag by Coach is Made in New York USA and its features date it mid to late 1970s. Has wear, scratches, consistent with being nearly 50 years old but still gorgeous and very usable. Fantastic Dark Academia or Light Academia bag. Thick leather with natural suede interior from the full hide used in the bag! Zippered interior pocket and the zipper still works perfectly. Medium brown saddle leather and chunky brass hardware. The 1970s made bag has a brass buckle closure in front (complete with a little slot for the tab to tuck in), wide slip pocket under the flap and another large zip pocket along the back wall of the roomy interior. The shoulder strap adjusts on both sides. In this era, each bag was given a unique serial number! I am putting this up for the serious Coach junkie and am very torn about whether to sell her, but I simply cannot use the plethora of bags I have and she deserves to be worn and used.
