From the final season of the iconic Jil Sander collab line, +J. These jeans are cut like men's jeans, narrow in the hips and relatively larger in the waist. They're a fantastic deep black selvedge denim with a bit of sheen. This line is meant to be pretty unisex - the product page also shows a guy wearing them. The sizing is off. They're sold as a women's size 25 but they fit me perfectly as a size 26-27 with narrow hips. (Look at the product page for info on the sizing - they're sold out but you can google "+J Selvedge Straight Jeans" to find reviews and size chart.) These jeans are black -- the stock photos of the blue version are included because it's easier to see the cut. New with tags. I loved these jeans so much that I bought this second pair as backup, then I never wore them because the first pair is lasting so well! Still in original packaging.

fleur65 Hi there do you have the original paper tag that was attached at the waist? Also, can you take a photo of the inside tag where it shows the style numbers etc? Thank you so much!

fleur65 @monochrome yes I think they are too! :)) I had a look for these online as you mentioned we could, and I saw one comment that made me pause about the Sz 25 in these jeans. Someone else who had them mentioned the 26 was too big in the waist, but oddly, the 25 was too tight. I also have the 26, and they are big in the waist so that’s why I’m seeking a 25…would you mind measuring the waist on your 25 so I can compare with the 26? If so thank you so much. :)

monochrome @fleur65 Makes sense! Waist is 29.5" if I measure the inside of the waistband carefully, 30" outside. Then, to see how they fit, I put on my old pair since I didn't want to stretch out these new ones. I was a 26 or 27 in most brands when I bought them but I'm a 28 now and they're too small. So as an upper limit: the waistband hits at my low waist where it's 31.5", and they button but are too tight. (The old pair was already stretched out from wearing them previously.)

fleur65 Okay thanks so much, that’s really helpful to know. To make it easy though, could you go look at my ISO listing again where I just copied a photo from one of my other listings into the ISO listing showing how I used a measuring tape to measure the waist and add a photo like that to your listing? I can take a look at it and compare to my 26. :))

fleur65 Oh thank you for doing all of that… the photos, the thought you put into explaining the size etc. You’re the nicest posher I’ve ever dealt with. :)) The waist looks exactly how I was hoping it would. My 26 is 15”, so at 14.5” it should be perfect. :))

fleur65 … I definitely would like to purchase them. I mean, I have to bc what are the odds that you’re ‘poshing’ the exact pair I’ve been hoping to find for months now? it’s serendipity! 😃 the problem is that I’ve just gotten back to work after being unemployed for a bit, so I have several bills to catch up on. What would you think about holding them for me until July? I would even pay you the retail price as a gesture of gratitude….

But I would be caught up on bills by mid July… with money to spend on these, so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Of course take your your time to think of you need to. monochrome @fleur65 That works fine for me because I'm traveling all of July, so my whole closet will be on vacation hold until the end of July. I can mark them unavailable now and it's just a few weeks difference. I'm fine with getting a lot less than retail - buying duplicates of my favorites didn't work out well so I'm just offloading things I won't use. Anyway, they'll be here, and I'll comment when I'm back in town. I'm very sympathetic to searching for that one exact thing!

fleur65 @monochrome oh goodness, you’re so kind… thank you so much. This works well for me too (end of July). I’ll be here waiting for you when you return from your travels. IKR: I’ve also bought duplicates of items in the past too… most of the time it worked to my advantage. But when it didn’t: thank goodness for Poshmark.
