Worn once. This is just a great dress in a feminine style straight from the set of Mad Men. It has a Union label and a size 12 tag in the seam but no fabric tag. I believe the fabric is silk but I am not positive. It is lined in a sort of gauzy nylon with an additional muslin like slip under the skirt part. I am recommending the dress for a size 10 lady based on the way it fits the size 6/8 dressform; I pinned the bodice of the dress to shape it to the form. With the exception of a flaw on the slip underneath (doesn't show) the dress is perfect. Wonderful neckline is wide with gathered shoulder straps which actually create a sort of cap sleeve which covers the entire shoulder. Bodice is shaped to fit the waist with more slouchiness in the shoulders above the bust. Big black buttons in the back. The skirt is gathered at the waist with soft pleats, and there is a metal zipper of about 8" long in back. Lovely earthtones in a muted modern looking plaid. In picture 4 you are looking at an attached 'camisole' made of the same fabric as the dress itself. I think this is because the armholes are long and draped and loose, and a slip underneath would show under the armpit (not a big deal today but something disconcerting 50 years ago). It hooks up in the back. When I give the bust measurements below I will be measuring this cami instead of the outer part of the dress. 36" around bust 27" around waist 41" length 17" length of bodice from shoulder seam to waistline
