geneapodaca Can you show something saying this is an actual R-3 suit? I didn't see it on the photos

karinone @geneapodaca It's my understanding that the classic vs the R-3 has two main differences- the R-3 has underarm vents and Velcro to attach the armor as well as slots for armor. I'm going to add the photos of these. What I do know is that this suit is like new, used only a few times as my brother in law purchased vanson 2piece and preferred that.

karinone Hi Gene, just got off the phone with my bike guy and he thinks this is the 2nd gen Classic as it has the pit, leg & back vents and the Velcro for the back armor. It still has pockets for knee & shoulder armor (which is in the suit) I also know this suit was purchased around 2014 and the R-3 (third generation) was introduced in 2019. My brother in law only wore it a few times before switching to the Vanson leathers and he passed away Dec 2017. I hope that helps.

geneapodaca You mentioned knee and shoulder pads. Are the elbow pads included as well?

karinone @geneapodaca Yes, all of the pads are there. Matthew passed in 2017 and we're just now going through all his gear. I will go through the tubs w/helmets misc gear to see if the Velcro back armor is there this morning and let you know. I understand that you had to buy that separately so not sure, but will look. I can guarantee all of this gear is in excellent condition.

karinone @geneapodaca Hi Gene, I declined as that is just too low. There is another on this site that is the 48R (not Long) so search for it. There are two on e the bay as well so look there. Good luck, I hope you find one that works. They're really fine products. Best, Karin

karinone @treeceblanks Hi, the measurements are at the bottom of the listing and are measured with the suit lying flat. The size is a men's 48 Long. It was my brother in laws and he was 6'5" and about 230 lbs.

karinone @treeceblanks Pit to pit (chest) flat is 27" (54"around) waist flat is 22" (44" around) and the waist has Velcro tabs to tighten or loosen (approx 3" on each side tighter or looser) I also have the Vanson spring jacket, a barely broken in pair of Vanson leather pants and the Vanson racing leathers set listed. Let me know if you need more measurements or pictures and I'll do my best to accommodate. Thanks.
