Such an amazing vintage coat! Felt to be from the 1960s. See last two photos with reference from the Vintage Fashion Guild’s Label Resource. Has a very 1980s feeling also— boxy, oversized cut with large shoulder pads. Very of the moment! Very fuzzy/furry/shaggy. No fabric tag but definitely feels like mohair or mohair blend. Please see up close pics to see this best. Plaid in dark pine green and nearly neon flame red. Very 60s color. Gold buttons down the front & at cuffs. Extra button inside the coat. Fully lined in red fabric that feels like acetate. Recommended care: professional dry clean. Collar. Two roomy pockets on front. No size tag inside coat. Best fit for a modern day large to extra large. I am a size 10/12 and tried it on. Fits me with room to spare. Mannequin is size small. Very very roomy on her. Measurements of coat (taken flat/coat is not stretchy): across chest pit to pit 24”, across hips at top of pockets 24.5”, across bottom 24.5”, length from back of collar to bottom 47”, sleeve length from shoulder seam to edge of cuff 24.5”, shoulder to shoulder across back 17.25”. Excellent vintage preowned condition. Felt to be approximately 55 years old. Only minor issue is that a few inch segment of the lining inside bottom of the coat has been handstitched. See last pic. Otherwise, quite a statement maker in wonderful condition.
