Hermès Vintage Scarf “Vinci” in Burgundy/Wine/Navy

This gorgeous Hermès scarf featuring a swirling geometric design in gold tones on a field of varying subtle tones of burgundy and wine red with a navy border was designed by Françoise Heron in 1958 and reissued ten years later in 1968. This early issue scarf displays the original format copyright which first appeared on scarves in 1967/1968 and has its original composition tag attached. It is in beautiful condition with a soft heavy hand, one thread pull, and hems that are still plump. A scarf of this design from 1968 in this colorway and condition is very hard to come by, and would be a prize in any collection.
