Ok…to my surprise (because I haven’t worn these in sooo long): I think you’d be fine. But, if you wear thick socks they probably won’t feel awesome. OR if you are pushing more towards a size 9 vs a solid 8.5 I’d say they are a No Go. These days I only do 8 or 8.5. From my heel being back all the way, I had 0.75 inches from the tip of my great toe to the end of the shoe. Hopefully this is a little helpful. Holler back if you need anything
