There is a Montaldo's department store tag, and a shred of the blue '63-'74 ILGWU tag (zoom in next to Shannon Rodgers). Metal zipper with metal teeth. This garment looks like a swingy trapeze mini dress at first glance, but it is slit up the sides over the hip. Wear it with hot pants, palazzos or capris! Sleeveless, with a split cape-like overlay on each side. Welt pockets on each hip. Mod cowl high neck w/ attached scarf ties in back. Bra strap keepers. No material content - feels like real silk. Body of the tunic is straight, it's the overlay that creates a tent effect. No size indicated. The side slits make the waist and hip forgiving, but do pay attention to the bust measurement. Model is a 2/4. Pit to pit 17.5" Across at hip slits 17" Shoulder to hem in back 34" Great condition for age and fragility of materials. You will find pinholes in the chiffon overlay, the 2 main areas are pictured; plus some minor snags and shreds, but nothing distracting or that affects garment integrity. See close-up photos. The covered button is threadbare. Small dry gray transfer stain on back; the inside lining has water stains. Zipper and snaps work well. Seams are intact.
