Super rare! Deadstock condition quilted bag by Now! Designs San Francisco, late 1960s - early 1970s. This small business was known originally for kitchen textiles, but became popular when it released its Levi’s Jeans bag in the late 60s at the height of hippiedom. I’ve never seen this design before, which has a contemporaneous tag. Super happy retro check print that resembles patchwork with designs including striping and tulips. Lightweight quilted fabric. Single broad shoulder strap. Can be worn as a shoulder bag or tote in addition to crossbody (if you’re petite). Measures 14” tall (not including strap) x 12” wide. Strap drop is 12 1/4” (not adjustable). Two interior slot pockets. Single snap closure. Excellent, seemingly unused condition. Clean and bright with only a couple tiny spots on the interior.
