Please see photos. *Extremely Rare, Vintage/Collector’s Item (before 1971), Overstock: New old store stock - I purchased these gorgeous Levi's that had been in a climate-controlled smokeless wareroom for decades. They are perfect- out of a time warp. There is some fading at fold marks - front crease, thigh and shin area (see photos). Levi’s Big E” series refers to jeans made prior to 1971. At the time, Levi’s stitched their name into the pocket tab in all capitals letters, giving jeans of this era their signature title. After 1971, Levi’s changed their tab letters to read “Levi’s” instead of “LEVI’S”, making these limited Big E’s a collector’s item. These also feature the sought after “Black Tab” pocket label with gold lettering, indicating the pants have undergone the STA-PREST process (non-ironed).
