Vintage USA Pottery Piece

This unique and fun piece of pottery makes a great conversation piece. I don't know if it was made for any specific purpose. It's been in my family over 55 years and was always just used as coffee table decor. The inside is about 2 1/2" deep. See photos for other measurements. It is in very goid condition, no chips or cracks. Made in USA
