susanodenbach I doubt an American furrier would make a genuine leopard skin coat, line it with cheap acetate, and put care instructions on the back of the tag which we can’t see. Isn’t it true leopard is an endangered species for many many years and coat is not vintage. I have owned 7 fur coats in my life, I am 78, and even in the 60’s there were several furs you could not buy American made, one of them was leopard, all were lined with silk or satin, and none had care instructions.

luxe_patina @susanodenbach the coat is made of Lippi fur which is a spotted animal similar to an ocelot. It’s not leopard and is not an endangered species. Gucci and several other luxury houses used the fur up until the early 00s when it was listed with the possibility of becoming endangered.
