6 Mid Century Lowball Rocks Glasses Cera MCM Silver Gold Old Fashioned Cocktail

This SET of SIX high-end, true Mid Century glasses are signed “Cera”: made by Cera Glass (similar to Culver), circa 1950s - 1960s. They are the very solid Double Old Fashioned or Double Rocks size, making them the perfect choice for any large cocktail or iced drink. The pattern is extremely rare! A wheat design in a raised, reflective metallic that is mysteriously both silver and gold. Pairs beautifully with barware of either color. SIZE: Each measures 4” H by 3 1/8” diameter, both at the rim and base. CONDITION: They do have the expected signs of age and use—specifically wear and loss to the gold/silver finish. I’ve included a photo of some of the rims, which show the greatest wear. Two of them do not have the rim wear shown, but all have some wear. Photos can be magnified. History: The Ceraglass Company (1940-1969), founded by two silkscreen artists, was a world-renowned glass manufacturer during the Mid-Century era, known for its intricate details and vibrant designs for its cocktail glassware and barware. Their glassware is signed with the "Cera" signature and their designs are often trimmed with 22K gold.
