Beautiful, full beaded, layered, black/gunmetal, Sherri Hill prom dress. It fits like an 8. It was only worn once. There were no size alterations but a small bustle was added to the back that does not need to be used.

nicolebishop694 @cdurmis Hi there. We are still interested! We have a few more questions about the dress. Curious about the fit -- does it seem pretty true to size? Also, the fabric -- is it stretchy at all? (without a chance to try it on just trying to get an idea...last year our daughter wore a size 10 Sherri Hill gown -- it was big up top but fit fairly well from the waist down) Is the dress see through? Is it sheer? The lining in your pix looks nude, but in photos from designer it looks black. Thnx.

cdurmis @nicolebishop694 no problem at all! I’m happy to answer any questions. Generally, I wear between a size 8 and 10 and this fit great. It is a stretchier material, nothing super stiff. The neckline is flexible because it is a tie in the back. The material around the hips and legs is also able to give a lot, so I would say it fits most people pretty well, definitely wouldn’t be tight, but curves to your body well. It’s a fairly heavy dress because of the jewels, but I absolutely loved it.

cdurmis The underlying material is a tan color, but there is a layer of black sort of mesh and there are so many jewels that the tan isn’t obvious, adds a great dimension.

nicolebishop694 @cdurmis Thank you SO much for your help in answering our questions! My daughter is a little worried that the dress is too see through in the chest area -- in the last two photos you posted it looks like the 'nude' lining is really prominent -- but it doesn't appear that way at all in photos posted to the Sherri Hill website, etc. Would it be possible to post/send any more photos from when you wore the dress? So we can better see how it looks overall? I hope this makes sense. Plz let me know!

cdurmis @nicolebishop694 yes! There’s a thick cup/bra-like lining over the chest! I am not home right now, but I remember there being cups on the inside, definitely something very thick. I will send pictures tonight of the inside of it for you!

nicolebishop694 I think this would fit her perfectly! Just trying to get a better idea of that nude lining...and in the other photos of the dress we can find online (sherri hill website, etc.) we can't even tell the lining is nude! We wouldn't have known other than the photos you posted and getting a closer look... I hope this makes sense. :)

cdurmis @nicolebishop694 hi there! I added some more pics of the inside cups within the interior lining! You can clearly tell the tan color there as well. I also attached another pic of me wearing it. Hope this helps!
