5ct BRAZILIAN KUNSITE / Oval Cut Gemstone / Lilac Pink Color / 9x11mm / Natural

This is one of my favorite gemstones. Kunzite is gem-quality spodumene and comes in many beautiful colors. The lovely pinkish purple specimens like this one come from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. Kunzite has a high refractive index and, as you can see from the photos, sparkles like crazy. This oval cut gemstone measures 9x11mm by 7mm thick and weighs 5.1 carats. As you can see it is very clear with very few imperfections and has been expertly faceted.
