eliselet @whyitsali they don’t run small, if anything I’d say they are true to size if not a bit roomy. My waist is 27” and I’m usually a size 4 and I like the fit of the small it fits me really well. My sister is a size 6 and she fits in both but prefers to wear the medium size and cinches the belt. I hope this helps(:
