tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - thank you so much! The yarn is all cotton. It’s super soft too.

veenessflytrip Do you have any with long sleeves? I love the open front style making it just for sleeves!!
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - I don’t have one made but can definitely make one custom for you. 😀

veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 ooooooo! About how much would it be to have a style like this one but with the length sleeves?
Sep 02Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip No brooch 😉🌹
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - I can do one without the broach and long sleeves for $25.

veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 wow! I think I would like it a little shorter in the back.:I want to wear it with an a-line dress. Is that doable?
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - sure thing. If you can send me measurements that would be perfect. Just measure from under your arm to wrist where you want the sleeve to fall. Then measure from shoulder to where you want the shrug to fall in your back.

veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 that sounds great! Please Gimme a few days. What is your turnaround time once you start?
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - awesome!! It will take about 3 -4 days to get it finished once I get the measurements.
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - I crochet and knit pretty fast. 😅
Sep 02Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 I would say so! When you make a garment for someone based on their measurements, do you factor in shrinking or do u pre-shrink your yarns?
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - I factor in shrinking. However all garments will need to hand washed in cold water.
Sep 02Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 Of course! Thank you. I’ll try to get you those measurements this week. This is so exciting!
Sep 02Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - I’m excited too. I so enjoy making custom pieces. 😃

veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 hi thanks for waiting. I would like the sleeves be19 inches long going over the top part of my hand. My armpit to wrist measurement is approximately 18 1/2 inches. my biceps are 11 inches in circumference. Do you need anything else as far as measurements go?
Sep 11Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - yay! That’s all I need for now. I will let you know if I need any other info. I will get started on your piece tomorrow!!
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 thank you! So to reiterate: Longsleeved, Cotton, off white/ivory/cream yarn and please make the back shorter, only using the width necessary to go over my arms when you get to the sleeve portion😃. So the back would be 11 inches or 12 if you add another iinch for ease?
Sep 11Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - got it! Will let you know if there are any issues. I will use similar yarn as pictured. I’m excited to get started. 😀😀

veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 Thank you! Using a natural and breathable fiber is very important to me. Pure cotton, cotton/rayon, rayon/wool are good. I cannot tolerate synthetic fibers (acrylic, polyester or nylon😬)
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip Natural fibers are actually imperative😬. Thanks for understanding.
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip That’s a Great fiber content and a very pretty yarn color! However, it looks more pink than what I want. The dress I’ll be wearing it with is ivory made out of wool so it’s more of a yellow off-white.. The color you have on your manii looks like it would work though. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to send you shopping for yarn. Thought you had more. Like you used in this shrug😬 I would be happy to send you a fabric sample or paint chip and pop it in the mail.
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip It doesn’t have to be exactly that color but it would be nice if it was the same color family—llighter or darker it’s OK,
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip Or if you prefer you could send me some samples of what you have that are more of a yellow off white/Ivory cream so I can pick from something you already have that you can get more of
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip I’m sorry I didn’t want this to get complicated. Let me know if you are changing your mind about it
Sep 11Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip no worries. I have more of the yarn I used on the manni. It's a cotton blend yarn. I was looking for more of an organic cotton for you. But, we can go with the same yarn. I have a ton of it! :)
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip PS: the color of the ribbon coming out of the doily looks like it’s the same color as my dress
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 Do you know what it’s blended with? And what the percentages are? If there’s just a little synthetic I might be OK with it....
Sep 11Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip if you can send me a pic of the dress that may work better. My email is tatteredntorn.life @ Gmail
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip @tatteredntorn22 I can do that, but colors are kind of subject to individuals monitors. And I just remembered that I probably have a fabric sample from the dress
Sep 11Reply
veenessflytrip
veenessflytrip Hi! Did you receive the fabric samples that I sent a while ago? Are you still interested in making the shrug?
Sep 26Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @veenessflytrip - hi! I didn’t receive the samples. I can definitely make the shrug just need to figure out the color. 😀
Sep 26Reply
tatteredntorn22
tatteredntorn22 @lljustycell998 - hi! Sorry it doesn’t fit me. 😬. The mannequin is the best pic I can provide.

tatteredntorn22 @friendshippower - sorry it doesn’t fit me. The mannequin pic is the best I can do.
