@twomommy Well, this is a special bag, it can be used as hand bag, or back pack! When positioned as a handbag (picture 2) it zips at the top. Now, either way you use the bag, you can always place your belongings into the zipper pocket. When used as a back pack, the top pocket is a latch pocket (picture 4&5) and is a pretty big size, this pocket turns into a side pocket when used as a purse! 😊 So, there are two types that work either way you are wearing the bag!

@vanillat I'm so sorry, just saw your post! The bottom of the bag is about 10", then it increases to 12" long, 12" tall, and 7.5" wide
