I am busy preparing for, and enjoying, our Thanksgiving feast. RSVP if you'd like to attend, but you must have the proper table etiquette as my little spotted cat Ty demonstrates - no feet on the table!! Enjoy everyday! We all have so much for which to be thankful and it can all be gone in the twitch of a whisker.

vacat @fancy514 Charlotte, thank you my dear friend and sister!! You betcha - I taught my furkids and now teaching my furgrandkids. Two of the three are fantastic! They sit in their chairs and eat from their plates (the little silver domes cover their little silver plates)! Seriously, cuteness overload!! The third one has been with us for only two years and was wild when I found her along the road. She has NO table manners. Attack plan for stealing the turkey and dragging it away like a puma.

I help in animal rescue and today we caught the beautiful Siamese that has eluded us for so long but loves to be around people-. she had captured our hearts for months! Tomorrow she will be spending Thanksgiving in a warm foster house surrounded by fiur siblings. What a way to start Thanksgiving! 🙏🙏🙏

vacat @lakeforest Thanks bunches. Actually Ty is a "he." Both my boys know their table manners. The crazy girl Bryana- not so much!! I found her alongside a gravel road as the sleet started falling. She's part of our family now. She did ok last year. Watched the boys and remained in her chair for about five minutes before deciding to engage "attack turkey on table" mission. LOL.

Your Mommy taught you such good manners!😻😻Happy Turkey Day! Now I have to go & find your sister around here, lol! Holly, you are such an angel for rescuing your girl! You know they remember these things & I'd hate to think what might've been had you not seen her on the road side in sleet, poor baby girl!

lakeforest I so agree about getting rescue kitties... All of my kitties I've had since I was a lil girl have been adopted or rescued. Many yrs ago ( early 70's) my Mom took me to a local shelter and there was a beautiful Seal Point Siamese. The guy kept referring to this kitty as a "he". Well, long story short, I fell in love with this "boy". We noticed this kitty looked rather pudgy & my Mom & I took him to the vet. We then were told that this kitty was a girl & was going to have kittens in about 3 weeks! The vet said because of her distended belly, for some reason it was hard to tell by lifting its tail the sex of the cat, lol.. and we believed what the guy at the shelter had told us. The vet told us the guy at the shelter knew the truth but wanted this special girl to find a new home & we came just in time to save her. She would've likely been euthanized. My Princess had her 6 kittens and all were adopted right away. My Princess lived until she was about 22 yrs old! She was my special girl and it took a long time to get over her. We've had 2 other rescues who both passed 9 days apart around this time 3 yrs ago. Chessylou & Tuffgirl were both girls who Dennis my husband was crazy about especially Tuffgirl, a silver & white tabby who we found wandering outside our home. No one seemed to know where she came from or who she belonged too so we took her in. Chessy, a Seal Point, was my girl and we had to let her go the day after Thanksgiving 2011. Tuffgirl passed in her sleep :( 9 days earlier. They were about 14-15 yrs old. Fast forward and the 2 we have now were. fostered by Homeward Bound before we decided to adopt them & came from the same litter. They are both so different in personalities; Bails is miss hot stuff & Bissy still acts like a kitten. He's much smaller than his sister too and very shy. Gosh, I could go on & on about our furry ones like you! We couldn't have children so they are our children!! Xoxo

lauradough I havnt had the chance! We had a 90 degree Thanksgiving in Southern California! We had some autumn weather last week, but it's faking us out and winter is NEVER coming haha. I can't wait to show it off. Glad you had a good holiday, and hope we all land some black Friday sales (or purchases), do you recall if PM did a promotion like this last year?

dotseyqueen I love how you take care of your kitties. I just had to put my Dotsey down last week with cancer. She was my fur baby for 12 years. The hardest part is whenever I see something white it takes me back and I think for a few seconds that it is her. The white sweater I left on my bed keeps grabbing my attention. I am happy to have found Poshmark. It keeps me busy and preoccupied. Gee to think Thanksgiving is just around the corner!
