lisaollivier @yiaputman - Hi Yia, I understand your concern about the cost and the center stone. I paid almost $3,300 because it's a designer ring. The salesman at Robins Bros said Simon G is the Mercedes of rings. Of course, my expensive taste lol. I couldn't afford another 5,000 to 6,000 for a 1 carat diamond which would have made this a $10,000 ring.

lisaollivier Also, I didn't like the band that was meant to go with this set as it was just round and I wanted the band to grove with the engagement ring so that it looks like one ring. I worked with a Robins Bros and they made a mold and once I approved the design they made this band. It's a beautiful vintage looking piece.

lisaollivier Let me think. See what happened was 4 months after I financed this I lost my job and couldn't pay the loan. It went to collections and then an attorney who was about to garnish my wages and is now hitting me for $4,500 for this ring. I can show you copies of that too just to prove I'm not making any money on this at all. They will settle for $3,000 which I don't have so I am paying them $100 a month to keep them from garnishing my wages. I would still have to come up with $1,000 to the attorney if I sold this for $2,000.

jennifermetz I am so very sorry some people have nothing better to do than troll peoples posts & make negative comments.He was just so sure you did not have the reciepts to back-up what you were saying ;) Some people just cannot grasp what a designers name adds to somthing, people know they consistently sell a well designed & made product. If he is a jewler he is most likely on here trying to take advantage of peoples heartbreak by purchasing their rings well below value and marking them up for re-sale.
