520 Vintage red enameled copper necklace and earrings (unsigned Matisse) jewelry set Vintage red enameled copper necklace and earrings. This is very likely a Matisse, evident from the workmanship, clasp and exact match to other pieces. It was not uncomon for these pieces to be unsiged. Renoir of California, including the Renoir and Matisse lines of copper jewelry, were founded by Jerry Fels in 1946. The Matisse mark was used for enameled pieces which Fels began creating in 1952.
