sweetpeaphilips @kimmiedee Hello again! I do have a question for ya. I haven't posted any items yet because I've come across a few poshers who are worried about losing cash on shipping. If I read it right its about weight, correct? I'm familiar with eBay, ETSY as well, but I'm worried about bundling lots and having to pay more for shipping. sweetpeaphilips @kimmiedee Oops I also wanted to ask about using the "as is" disclaimer. I've noticed no one posts this. Although this is very common on eBay. I have some items that family might want me to sell and I'm afraid I might miss something that could potentially be wrong with it. It's happened on eBay and I was so bothered by it. I felt really bad. I mean, buying online has its risks right? So how does that work out? So far I've read little complaints from people. That is unless they were burned and they are warning others. How do you handle those situations? Thx again!!

kimmiedee @sweetpeaphilips here's how I do things...not that it's the only way to do them, it's just how I do it. When I list an item, I do my best to describe it exactly how it is...list every flaw I find (if there are any) but if the item is in bad shape, or I wouldn't buy it because of a stain or flaw, then I won't list it...now, if I'm packaging something up and see a flaw, if it's minor, I try to adjust for the flaw...like throw in a small item they liked or refund a few dollars of their shipping costs. I let them know by message on here or with their thank u note that I include. Poshmark has a no refunds policy in general, there is a little disclaimer underneath ur listing, however, I try to treat things on a one to one basis....now, buyers have two options to choose from when their items arrive...they can either accept the order and u get paid, OR they can say the item was not as described. If they say its not as described, Poshmark will open a case and determine if the buyer deserves a refund. I have only had this happen to me a couple of times and it was because someone either didn't like the items or they didn't fit....that really doesn't come into play with this policy. It's not my fault if something doesn't fit, or if you don't like it....it is my fault if I tell u your item is in like new condition and it arrives severely flawed....know what I mean?

kimmiedee @sweetpeaphilips bundles....this can be a tough one..,.but u can either tell the buyer up front that they will be responsible for the extra shipping, or u can split it with them or u can cover it entirely....that's completely up to u and your discretion. I sometimes lose not this one, but it all evens out in the end so I don't worry about it too much. Most of my bundles range in weight between 2-5 lbs, and I usually cover the extra or split it with my buyers. That is your call honestly

kimmiedee @sweetpeaphilips side note: all of the claims that stated that i sent something that wasn't as described (I think I've had two total, which is awesome in my eyes, but wish I didn't have any) Poshmark sided with me, because I described everything in detail and did NOT misrepresent in any way...the buyers just didn't like what they bought. kimmiedee @shop1_aholic I bundle taking the original pics of my listings and using an app called pic collage or insta collage (both free) to create ONE listing for the buyer...look down to the bottoms of my closet and u will see several examples. I also either delete (don't do often) or just change the price (really high so no one will purchase) of the remaining listings related to the bundle😊❤ thanks for ur question and I hope it has helped u! kimmiedee @loveandletgo I think I sold a bundle the first week or so....they key to this app is sharing & following....share your items often, share others listings often & they usually return the favor...follow all kinds of people...they usually follow back. It can be difficult at times and can take a lot of time, but I try to have a ritual with sharing my closet....I don't always follow it but I try to share my closet at least two, three, four or more times a day...all different times to put my items in front of all different users😋❤. Best of luck to you! Sell ur buns off!😋❤

I definitely see a trend depending on the time of the month...beginning of the month, middle seems to better sales times...and I think there are so many moms out there that right now so close after back to school, has really hit everyone's pockets...sales will prob increase next month and then after up to Christmas. At least that's my experience. Now there are some ppl who sell no matter what...sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't lol. U have beautiful dresses, you shouldn't have any trouble. If u ever need shares just nudge me and I'll be happy to help u out!😊❤💋

gloriaanngarcia I recently purchased a "coach" wallet, the seller listed it as coach! I started to question authenticity and now I realize it is a fake after talking to the coach store. The item is due to ship tomorrow...what should I do?

kimmiedee @gloriaanngarcia have u talked to the seller? I would probably tell them what u found out (in a nice way) and if you have changed your mind due to the authenticity, ask them to kindly cancel your order. If they refuse, when ur item arrives, do NOT accept the order under your posh account. There will be an option for u to say why u aren't going to accept it and posh will open a case and decide if the item has been misrepresented. If they find that it is, I think they handle the return to the seller and will refund your money. It usually only takes a couple if days, but prob the easiest way would be to contact the seller first and see if they will cancel for you. Good luck! I hope it all works out for you!😊❤

The option to NOT accept is there to protect us from situations just like u have...sometimes people aren't aware of what they have, others realize and try to mislead unfortunately. MOSTLY you will find very honest people on here...check out the listing I have about closet crushes...there are some AWESOME people listed there that won't steer you wrong😊. Stay with the Posh community, it's pretty amazing and I'm totally addicted if you couldn't tell lol😜😘❤

kimmiedee @andreab27 I looked at your closet...nothing is overpriced (in my opinion) and you have super cute things❤❤. I do have two suggestions.....first is to maybe find an app that helps u dress up your photos. I personally don't like to use effe to because I want people to see what something truly looks like, but of course that's my preference. There is a photo app called snapseed....I think it's free. It's GREAT! Will help you sharpen your photos and liven them up. Also, there is an app a lot of people use called "beautiful mess". It lets u add text and other designs to your photos...it does cost, but it don't think it's much. I'm sure there are plenty of free ones though. My second suggestion is to increase your followers the best that you can. Lots of people follow you back when u follow them....and when u share your items, it shows up in their news feed. Just find people who seem to have similar tastes as u & follow them....also try to follow their followers. It takes a little bit and some perseverance, but it does work. There are several following games on here, just search for them and I'm sure u will find tons! And lastly, share. Share your items often, share to parties, and share other people's things. They usually return the favor❤😋. Hope that helps!

kennageorge Hey there! I'm completely new to this and just downloaded this app randomly the other day but I'm interested in selling items and don't exactly understand the shipping aspect...so from what I've read, the site will provide a shipping label for you to print off, then you just go to the post office and select the packaging box the item goes into and you pay for shipping costs? Sorry, this is probably so easy but I'm just trying to grasp everything before I start posting items to sell. Any tips or hints would be appreciated!! And btw, your closet is amazing and I plan to get some items I've spotted once I figure out what I'm doing! Lol thanks in advance! :-)

kimmiedee @kennageorge welcome! My granddaughters name is Mckenna!! Lovely name!😜😊❤. When u make a sale, poshmark will email u a shipping label and the cost for that has been paid by the BUYER when they make their purchase from u. Posh auto adds $4.99 to orders under $25, & $6.99 to orders less than $25. U don't pay additional shipping UNLESS ur bundle weighs more that 2 lbs & the cost is $1.99 each extra pound. So if ur unsure about weight, the post office or your own scale (package or small digital scale recommended) is needed to determine weight. Personally, if I sell a large bundle, I usually try to incorporate the extra cost into the bundle or I will cover it totally...that is totally up to u. Go ahead and set up an account on the USPS website and order FREE priority mail shipping supplies. Order the priority mail boxes and envelopes, make sure they don't say "regional rate, APO, or flat rate" and u should be all set😊❤. Let me know when ur up and running, and I would be happy to share some of your things😊❤ and just a word of caution...this is crazy addicting lol. It is beginning to consume my days pretty regularly😄😘❤

kimmiedee @sdshopper you are very welcome for the shares!😋you do have nice things, the only real suggestion I have is with your props. I myself like to be able to see what is being sold clearly....now I like props, but if they distract from what is being sold I feel like it keeps people from looking at ur item. There are a few pairs of shoes that I can't tell what they look like because of the plants surrounding them....please don't take that the wrong way, it is only a suggestion to help u out. Contrasting backgrounds work well, as do more solid backgrounds in my opinion. And when using a collage, try to make each photo as large as u can...if u have to use several it's ok, just as long as someone can get the full idea of what something looks like. It can be difficult I know. Try out some of the programs I listed earlier like Beautiful Mess and Snapseed. I also use instacollage as well. Hope that helps you. 😋❤. Read some of the earlier posts about sharing and following as well. This is something that takes some dedication, but the more that see your stuff, the more you will sell. kimmiedee @ang16sanchez WELCOME!!! Ur pics look great! My only suggestion for your descriptions is to add heel height and maybe boot calf circumference dimensions to your shoes and boots listings. Being very descriptive such as type of material, length and etc on your clothing is also nice as well. Some people just like to purchase and know what they're getting without having to ask questions and it's a good practice to begin with. Start off visiting the "find people" part of the app often...there are always suggested users posted there & they change several times a day. Follow them! Most times they follow back😊. It takes time and patience, but follow others, share some listings you like or think are great deals, & most people return the favor as well. ❤ Visit poshmarktips.com for other great tips! It takes a bit of close inspection, but there are lots of free NON FLAT RATE priority mail boxes & envelopes (I LOVE the Tyvex envelopes!). kimmiedee @purpldeuce u know that kind of depends on how much u share ur listings, how you have them listed, how many followers u have, etc. I think I started selling within about two weeks, but I really can't remember. Keep in mind the times of the month and holidays, they have a big impact on sales in my opinion😋❤️

kimmiedee @marsala anyone can join a party❤️😊 under your account settings there is an option to alert you everytime a party starts...they occur 3 different times each day (different times for each time zone) when a party is going on, you can share your items to the party by clickin. The share button in your listing (just make sure they fall into the party guidelines). Also, there is a party button at the bottom of the app that when the party is going on you can click that and join in😊❤️🎉 hope that helps😊❤️😊❤️

kimmiedee @hotturtlesoup hello there!😋❤️ lots of questions, I like it!! I will prob tag u a few times due to the length of the answer😁😉. When u like an items, it gets put into the "my likes" section of the app. To get there you need to click on the feed button (make sure you don't have a back arrow in the left hand upper corner, if u do, click it until it's gone), the "my likes will be at the upper left. Click on that and u can see all of your likes. There currently isn't a specific way to see a sellers feedback. What I do is read the comments under their sold items, it's a good way to see if they have ever had bad dealings with people but mostly you should find good! Several sellers, including myself, have a feedback listing, but not every buyer chooses to comment on there.

kimmiedee @hotturtlesoup now, you will not see a search capability for children's or men's items, as they really aren't allowed on here, neither is PayPal or trading. Several people use PayPal in order to get around posh selling fees, which is 20%. BUT BEWARE if u choose to do that. Poshmark will NOT support PayPal transactions at all, you if u buy something and the seller never sends it or if they send u a damaged or imitation item, it's you baby, they are not responsible. And I've never had anything very expensive posted on here (like an LV purse or fine jewelry) so I really can't answer your insurance question. But honestly, if I sold something real expensive, I would prob pay extra myself for a signature delivery and insurance just to make sure the buyer receives it.

I have never had a package misrouted, nor have I had someone claim they never received what I told them I would send. I have had some people not be happy about the way something fit and try to get their money refunded, but I go to great lengths to describe my items so it has always came out in my favor. Poshmark rules are very important and are intended to keep this a women's online consignment and posting other items just clouds up that vision😋. kimmiedee @kimsthings I purchased mine off eBay and that seems to be about the best place to get one as far as cost goes. You can seriously find all shapes and kinds on there....my is more of a dress form, but of course you can go all out like @fuzzynavel did and get a full body. Some other places to check are boutiques or stores near you....sometimes they sell them. I had thought about buying a more realistic one, but after thinking about it, I LOVE the ability to pin items to mine....sometimes when showing larger items, it's more necessary to pin items to showcase the true fit of something😋❤️

roxxie1213 Hello I was wondering if besides the email to posh they have an actual number that I can call to tell them my problem. I bought something from a seller here she send it out never received it but they charged my card. :/ so now I have emailed them several times and nothing, now I'm stuck without my purchases and -51 dollars.

kimmiedee @ms_cholico no, your items don't have to be designer, just cannot be designer counterfeit items...and it doesn't really matter what u paid for them or if u can remember or not....I go by market price and item value, brand, etc. just be truthful about your item and disclose imperfections if any. There are lots of "designer" items on here....and just as many no name brands.❤️❤️

What you need to do to get the emoticons in your listings is to go to the App Store and download the Emoji keyboard❤️❤️ it used to be free, it may now be $1.99 but it is worth it and it is also fun to use

kimmiedee @mrschouksks hey darling 😊 not sure if u are aware, but kids and men's items really aren't allowed on Poshmark❤️ several people didn't know, but there's a list of unsupported items under the Poshmark FAQ section...however on. Order to move sold items to the bottom of my closet, I share the other items. When u share an items, it moves it to the top of your closet. Hope that helps u, and where u get a chance, check the FAQ out about unsupported items😊❤️

kzack7125 Hi, I am really new having only opened the App a few days ago. Still trying to get a feel for how things are done. Seems a lot different than others with a much more friendly atmosphere almost a community within itself. Originally had discovered it as a buying venue but it seems much nicer then the way I have been selling. Don't want to have multiple sale sites to follow, just too busy and afraid I'd get too disorganized for that to work for me. My husband and I own a retail store (interior) const. co. The majority of our work coming from corporations based in Italy. Most of what I've pretty read seems straight forward I have a few questions though...it seems as though there are a number of people opting paypal payment which then is outside of Pm. however it is quite open and almost common practice throughout the broad community. Then there are others I have encountered who are quite vocal about that destroying the integrity of PM and who speak of having closets closed down by PM for violations of their policy prohibiting the practice. It would appear to me that must not really be much of a threat as it is so prevalent. This same conversation applies to trading also...I'm not judging either position. I am just trying to get an accurate understanding of things. If I am going to sell on this app and do not offer PP or trades but a large number of others do am I cutting my sale base? That's a reality. By the same token I can appreciate that in any venue there are certain business practices that should be followed in order for everyone to have a level playing field, preserve the integrity of the site(in this case), and keep it viable enough to continue. I realize that this will be a very subjective answer and yours may be different than another I might ask depending on your personal position. Unfortunately your the only one I've run across in my very short time looking at this that offered to assist us newbie(potential) sellers wit your questions. Sorry, I know this may not be the easiest question to answer. I don't want to come in making ppl angry because I don't follow the"rules". I have a company, I get that there are rules for a reason . I certainly want to be a team player too...and then again.. if a lrg majority of ppl are offering that option and it makes it more difficult to be competitive... to be honest it is this question that has me on the fence about switch over. Seems like it's one of those rule that gets broken freq and not enforced. Some are upset about it and at those who choose to disregard it. So that is my first and most important question. The second is simpler and I'm sure I'll feel quite dumb when I get the answer. When sellers have a posting on their page that advertises a closet within a closet(such as one for only shoes, purses,dresses etc.) how do you open it? It only goes to a page with the posting if I click the post itself. Sometimes I discovered if I click the size description on this page it will open a new page however other times that takes me back to the sellers orig homepage. What am I missing? Feeling pretty stupid being so inept at getting it to open. Thank you for being kind enough to reach out and offer your expertise & experience to those of us w/questions. I know there's the PM question and answer option but it feels different than asking a person actively using the site. Thanks again. If you'd rather respond to my email lmk.

kimmiedee @kzack7125 hello there Kim! Love the name😜 your questions regarding PayPal are definitely legit...to answer your question, PayPal is prohibited on Poshmark, first and foremost. This is for for two reasons....it by passes the PM commission of 20% and it also creates a situation where both the buyer and the seller isn't protected by the policy PM has in place to protect either party. If a transaction takes place off of Poshmark, there is ZERO customer support involved. Take for example you buy a purse that is listed as authentic coach new with tags, and you receive something obviously counterfeit (also a big no no in itself) and you used PayPal for that transaction, PM will not help you get your money back....period. If that transaction was on PM, then as a buyer, all you have to do is refuse to accept the item as delivered and PM investigates the transaction. PM goes by the descriptions of the listings to determine if an item that is purchase was received as it was stated and so on and so forth. ALSO, there are scammers on here who promise delivery of an item and don't deliver at all. The other reason is the obvious one, cutting out the commission which in itself, is wrong. Personally I will say that by not taking PayPal I haven't noticed any decrease in my sales, if anything it solidifies that the transactions that go on between me and my customers are serious and trustworthy. Yes on occasion I get asked if I take it, and I simply just say no. If someone truly wants an item, they will buy it through PM. (In my experience). All in all I think it is very difficult for PM to monitor the 2 million + users of the app in order to stop all PayPal transactions....I don't know how they could even stop that. They rely on users to reports listings to help guide them in their monitoring.

kimmiedee @kzack7125 you know, everyone goes through a trial and error on here, as well as every new app they use. To me, it's not worth the hassle of risking being banned, scammed or even having to deal with creating my postage that you have to do with using PayPal. Now on to trades....trading isn't "prohibited" it's not "supported" by PM meaning that if you trade, it's your baby to deal with, PM won't help you if you get rags and you send out riches. I have traded successfully in the past without incident, BUT I have only traded with people I knew and that was on my own discretion. I personally don't have an issue with trading, but I promise you, if you advertise that you trade then that will be the offers that you get mostly. I have since stopped trading for a while now, and truly it's not been an issue either. But that is your personal decision, either way it's really not wrong. I hope I helped you in some way❤️❤️ and I'm glad you found the app! It does have a great sense of community and fellowship and I have loved every minute of it😋❤️ feel free to ask anything anytime, I'll be glad to help.

I guess if you think it's saving money/making more, some are willing to take the risk. I think of the 20% as the cost of doing business, maintaining this site, shipping, the oversite & protection. Ultimately it's a small price to pay. Consignment shops almost all double or triple that and have a smaller customer base. I hate to bother you with the other question since it's prob something I should have been able to figure out myself but how do I open the closets w/in the closets? Maybe it's my iPad as it's been doing strange things lately. This may be 1 more to add to the list but doesn't seem likely. More likely user stupidity, user being me. Thanks again!

kimmiedee @kzack7125 I think what you are seeing is where people have a listing that says simply "tops" or "shoes". If that's what your talking about, some people choose to divide their closets up into sections. There isn't a way to have a closet inside a closet. If you click on a brand name or size in a listing and get a bunch of other items you are seeing a smart search for that brand or that size. You will notice when you start posting items and that when you share or update an item, it move to the top of your closet...this allows you to move your items around ..when people have these "dividers" they share and update them just like they would a regular listing to keep their closet divided. Am I on the right track with your question?

And when you share things in other poshers closets do you have a certain number of shares you will do or a time frame in mind when you start? I mean you could really just sit here all day if you didn't stop yourself at some point. kimmiedee @tumblweed as far as shares go, I really all depends on how much time I have. If I am caught up on returning shares, I will try to randomly share items from my news feed and sometime go into closets as share randomly as well...maybe 4 or 5 listings...sometimes just one or two. I won't share items that aren't permitted (kids, men's or household things) and I won't share listings if I see they take PayPal. Here lately I have only had time to return shares. I sat down tonight and did that for about an hr and a half and when I got finished I had racked up another 400 to return...soooo, it can sometimes be a never ending game😜 I wish I could return share for share, but many times I just can't. I do what I can when I can and hope that it helps. There are listings that say "like this listing, share and follow everyone" those are like games that help increase followers. But honestly, follow people, mostly they will follow u back. Maybe when u follow someone share a listing it two & they will do the same. Pretty soon u should see an increase in ur following😊❤️

kimmiedee @tumblweed almost forgot about the suggested user. It's a program that posh has that showcases sellers that are in good standing or follow the rules so to speak. I have seen some SU that don't follow the rules & I'm not quite sure how that happens. U remember when u first signed up for Poshmark? There was a list of people that were "suggested" for u to follow. Posh takes the SU's and puts them in rotation...kinda like promoting them. That's why it's such a big honor to be a part of that program. It's been a blessing for me for sure & I'm pretty excited that I got chosen😉 hope my little rid bits have helped u in some way❤️❤️

kimmiedee @sjameel78 hey there! A buyer has three days after an item is delivered to accept the order. Poshmark will automatically release funds at that point if the transaction hasn't been disputed. If the buyer chose to NOT accept the order, Poshmark will notify you via email of the situation❤️ just check ur email and if you haven't received a notice like that then buyer probably just hasn't accepted. For every one of my listings & posts like this one, I create them with an app....I use different ones, most of which are free to download. I think this one may have been made using Instaquote. Do a search in the apple app store for instagram apps or photo editing apps....that will get you started :) Good luck on your closet!

kimmiedee @krainh20 hello there & welcome! Using the "@" symbol in front of someone's user name is how a person is tagged. When you type a comment into someone's listing (like you did on this one) that comment will automatically be seen in that seller's "newsfeed". If you wanted to tag someone else into a listing....simply use that @ symbol and immediately type their username (no space between @ and their name). I tagged you on this one😋❤️ look in my closet and you will see some tips listings....read them and the comments below them and you will find out soooo much stuff...from scammers, PayPal, and how you can list and what you can and cannot list on Posh. Glad to have you here!😋❤️❤️❤️

kimmiedee @fashunpashun its where you specifically "tag" a person in a listings comments....when you type the @ symbol just before a person's user name(don't use a space between the @ and the name) like: @kimmiedee it will tag that user in that particular listing....this allows you to show your friends listings, etc...when you comment on someone's listing, just as you did mine, it automatically shows up in my news feed....in order for it to show up in a different person's news feed you must "tag" them....hope that helps :)

kimmiedee @12cashnovi if something doesn't fit, it's not the sellers responsibility to accept a return if they have described the item truthfully....actually, it's Poshmark policy that each item is final sale....I "occasionally" will accept a return but I treat each on an individual basis. If it's an error on my part, I will accept a return and I will cover shipping since it's my mistake....if I'm simply accepting a return as a courtesy, I expect the buyer to pay for shipping 😋❤️ and as far as I know, if posh has sided with a buyer as far as a return, you cannot refuse it....otherwise just use your discretion regarding returns, just remember that posh doesn't support them 😋❤️ hope that helps!

I think you just need a little pick me up and maybe a little closet renovation....I've had to do it myself, so please take this as constructive....try a background that is light enough for your listings to pop or stand out....lots of people scroll quickly and glance, so ur items need to stand out at them. As far as a SU goes....hang tight! Put it plainly in your closet that u don't accept PayPal...like at the top, it makes it easy for the pm editor to know you are legit❤️ remain active and I'm sure your time will come❤️ so happy to have met you, when I catch a breather (I'm getting ready to list TONS of items) I'll share your closet for you. @fuzzynavel meet a new up and coming super posher! kimmiedee @replicalover welcome to u!!! Poshmark gives you an option to direct deposit to your bank account❤️😋❤️😋❤️ or u can keep in your posh account to spend if you like. It usually takes about 24-48 hrs to hit ur account once you go into your account and "redeem" your balance. Hope that helps😋❤️

kimmiedee @tpowell1966 Welcome to you!! When a seller creates a bundle, they simply take more than one item, combine it into a listing and the buyer has to pay shipping only once...when I combine several items into a bundle for someone, I mark the items as sold or as bundled in the description title and change the price to something expensive so no one will purchase. You now can mark the item as not for sale through the app. When sellers cover the shipping charges, they have to just credit for the amount of shipping because the app doesn't give us an option to remove it....also, I make my listings using several apps. Look up photo editing apps (like for instagram), there are lots that are free. Hope that helps you!

kimmiedee @sjhomar hey there and welcome! Once you sell an item & it's delivered to the buyer, the buyer has three days to accept or reject the item...once the buyer accepts, the money is automatically placed into your account...or it will be deposited after three days of delivery

kimmiedee @fashunpashun mark two of the pairs of shoes as sold or bundled in the title of the listing, change the price to something very expensive OR use the edit tab to mark the item as not for sale...put a pic of each pair of shoes into one listing and change that listing to the price that you want to get for the items❤️ I use collage apps to arrange my bundles, but you can also do it this way❤️ hope that helps you

There are several apps out there that produce the white background effect...I do a lot of editing in my computer and I also use photoshop...as far as posh credits go, when someone uses your code once they sign up for posh, you get a $5 credit and so do they...u should be able to find your "code" I the app where u invite friends to join...it only works if they use it when the sign up though...it can't be added in later

kimmiedee @marcellatexas when a party is going on, you have the option to share to the party it to just your followers. And yes, in order for your listings to show up in your followers feed it has to be shared either by you or someone else ❤️

kimmiedee @honeymarie thank you!! Such a compliment❤️❤️ try your listings on a nice wooden hanger and a white or really light background to create contrast. You don't have to use a mannequin for your listings to be creative. You can be your own mannequin....of course that is sometimes easier said than done in my opinion lol. Take a look at a few of my friends & their closets....you will see just how pretty your items can look with & without a mannequin❤️ the closets that I adore with their look are (and these are just a few) @fuzzynavel @mandysue @babbushka

kittycafetoo You are def one of my Posh idols. Two things, #1: I 💙 this concept of helping new Poshers! I've seen it done before but you do it so eloquently. I think I'm going to start one as well. I've been on Posh just over a year. I'm comfortable enough now to give some meaningful advice. #2: I'm stuck! I'm trying and trying to become a SU but I'm just not being selected. I'm watching other beautiful Posher friends around me gain the status, a few I even helped to grow their closets and help with advice on cover shots and apps to use. Now they've surpassed me. I'm SUPER happy for them but I have to wonder when it is my turn. Would you be a doll and rummage through my closet? What am I doing so wrong?

sydniandsiera2 @kimmiedee Hi, I have a question. I sold an item from my closet on April29th I never received an e-mail with the shipping label. I have since asked for a new label several times and have still not received one. I have contacted Posh Support twice and haven't gotten a response from them. All of my other e-mails seem to be getting to me without a problem. Have you ever experienced this? Any suggestions? I have notified my buyer if the situation so she is aware. I had the same issues with my email not too long ago....my only fix was to get a new email through gmail & I haven't had any issues since....I actually now get my labels IMMEDIATELY when a purchase is made, so it was definitely worth the hassle to switch it❤️ try that out and make sure to change you email in your profile/account settings and then request a new label....it should work for you

Lately the number of followers I have increased, but few bites. I have tried putting my closet on sale in case pricing was the issue. kimmiedee @knusbaum when I first started, I really focused on increasing my followers....begin to follow people, most will follow back. The more followers u have, the more people see your listings....follow and share their items, and again, most will return the favor. It takes a while to build a following, but really worth the effort. Try sometimes to share some host pics from each night's parties too...it will probably gain u some return shares and some new followers as well❤️❤️ hope that helps you!!!

kimmiedee @xosheabutterxo I had to change the email I am using because the emails I get from posh were sporadic....sometimes I would get one, other times I wouldn't. I now use gmail and get all of the emails (I think). Maybe shoot customer service an email asking them to be sure❤️

chitownlins Good morning! I have a question.. When you get invited to a Posh party the evening before it asks if you want to RSVP. Is there any benefit to this since it asks you to join again at the time of the party? Every time I join a party ex) at 11:02 it's already FULL of merchandise.., does RSVPing automatically add your items to the party if they match the theme? How do people get their items into the party so quickly?!

kimmiedee @cim you will need to acquire some followers....when u share your items, that is who see them....at the moment u don't have any....so go out on the app, start following people, most times they follow you back...when u get a following, start sharing your, and other people's items

kimmiedee @cim I have had people ask me to hold things and then never come back, but a person has to pay for an item before a label is generated to ship it out....now, they have the option of not accepting the item once it's received...they have three days to decide on that....so once u send out an order, the member has to accept it before you get your money

I have had (very few fortunately) a few people who have ordered items that they either didn't like, the items didn't fit, or I even had one girl say I sent her a grossly damaged item (which was NOT true)...each time this happened the buyer has to open a case with poshmark support and then it gets investigated. I have NEVER had a case go against me...they have always been found in my favor. I do take great pains to make sure that I send out items exactly as described...I have missed a flaw before though...and just worked it out with the buyer somehow

kimmiedee @cim parties happen 3x a day, everyday....you don't really have to be invited...just go to the shop tab and u will see the party...u cannot host unless Poshmark invites you to....there are a lot of answers to questions in the comments of this listing as well as the two other listings I have in my closet....take an evening and read through the comments, you will prob find the answer to everything u had a question about❤️

kimmiedee @ashleigh24601 hi! The only thing provided to you after someone purchases an item is a shipping label....either you will need to pick up priority mail (no flat rate or express!) boxes at the PO, you can also order them for free and have them delivered to your home❤️

Go to the USPS.com website...go to the area where u order supplies, then look up priority mail...in the descriptions make sure to choose the items that are NOT flat rate or regional rate boxes...,it will tell u in the descriptions. I frequently use the Tyvex envelopes....they are self sealing and easy to store....I also use the Priority mail shoe boxes....they are a good size and u can fit a lot in them. Sorry I can't give u a link....I'm on my iPad 😋

kimmiedee @uptown_dyme once a package is delivered, if the buyer immediately accepts, u will get ur $ right then...if not, it takes 3 days from delivery. When I request a deposit of my $ it takes 2-3 business days usually to get into my acct❤️ hope that helps ❤️

mybell @kimmiedee is there a way to see a buyer/seller ratings? To see how the rate? I ran in to a problem recently where I sold a pair of Authentic Michael kors glasses. The buyer received them( I have proof from USPS )that she got them. She never accepted them so I have not got paid. I try to contact this buyer through posh and she completely delete her account. Am guessing she was a sham!!! I already connected posh through email. Now am really scared to sell cause I don't want this to happen to me or any one else again. Any suggestions???

kimmiedee @mybell how long since they have been delivered?? If a person doesn't accept the item, it takes 3 days for the money to be deposited in your acct. I wouldn't think that the person deleting her acct would have any effect on u getting paid though

kimmiedee @mybell if it has been confirmed as delivered and no claim has been opened against the transaction, you should have your $. Contact CS through the app and the sale (go to your sales tab and that particular listing & click contact CS) and send them an email. Make sure you check your personal emails...at one time I had an issue with my mail not letting me get CS emails.

moviecloset Ok thanks! I just wanted to confirm! Also I had an item sent back to me last week. I accidentally put that the shell was leather although the fur was real. The "leather" was not. Will that keep me from getting another host pick? Posh was very nice about it and the girl that sent it back was amazing about it and was so sweet! But I learned my lesson about reading the labels very well and not assuming the fabric content!!!!! 😪😪😪
