Rare 50s Vintage Block Print Cotton Day Dress Purple Abstract Chevron Handmade OOAK Pockets! 22” Waist! This utilizes a side zip and while the pattern is classic 1950s I think this was most likely made in the 1960s or 1970s to an old pattern due to the fact that the side zipper just feels newer than the zippers from the 1940s and 50s I’ve encountered in the past The pattern itself is amazing, and the artistic creator of this dress lightly painted in white over the entirety of the dress to create a more three dimensional pattern to the dress This dress appears to be made with fabric that was hand created with block printing and they use a color block Chevron in the front to really bring attention to the tiny waist and fluffy skirt  The pattern is perfectly matched in the front and in the back with multiple pieces to create the complex design Purchase from the estate of an avid dressmaker Size: Womens XS Measured Flat Shoulder to shoulder- 12.5” Bust- 28” Waist- 22” Hips- 36” Sleeve Length- 3” Armpit hole- 7” Shoulder to Hem-36” Shoulder to Waist- 14” As they are previously owned items it is always a good plan to plan to have the items taken to your local green dry cleaner before wearing.
