I try to keep up in CHANEL and noticed the CC logo was not stitched into the leather of the flap inside and I did not see the CHANEL stamp that would be directly under the stitching. Is that something new CHANEL is doing with their bags. They typically dont come with paper wraps on the chain straps so I was curious about the new look!!

I would also ask that you ensure that your facts are correct and you conduct your due diligence before commenting on anything in my closet. My questions were not to raise doubt about your bag but to educate myself about new trends, ways to protect from fraud and other useful pieces of info as a buyer. Things change frequently and its good to share what you know!!! So happy you have wonderful friends but my motivation was to gain more info to help me deal with questions of authenticity as well. As a CHANEL owner I want to make sure I have up do date info that will make me a better seller!!! As I said earlier nice bag!!!! The red ones are spectacular!!!

lblack13 @spadoni57 @yvonnero - I just wanted to comment because I have questioned listings to ask if bags are real too. I have seven or eight real bags and several other items from ChANEL. I joined PM specifically because it said fakes are not allowed. However, fakes and scammers are all over the place & it makes it hard for those of us who have real bags to sell them. Nobody trusts anyone and from the stuff I have seen they are right not to. I just saw several fakes that came with authenticity cards!?!?! The counterfeiters are stepping it up and there are a lot of shady people on PM. I have decided not to list my bags until I educate myself on the fakes. I don't want to risk selling a real bag & being ripped off or be the victim of a swap. I have seen it happen on here and I have also seen people sell receipts to people so they can use them to sell fake bags. Somebody could easily buy my bag and copy my card and receipt then send it back. I don't rule out anything after what I have seen on here. Instead of us all getting mad at each other I say we all agree to report the fakes and get them off here! I had somebody accuse me of having a fake item & I was horrified. At the same time if you are not an expert on the designer it can be really hard to tell these days so I don't really blame people for being cautious. I hope you both will help report the fakes on here so our real items won't be questioned. 😉😊

Immediately after I sent it I realized how it could be used. It seems we collectively have plenty of information to help each other make honest transactions. As a buyer I gave been dubious at best and as a seller put on the defensive. A network of CHANEL lovers would be helpful for both. CHANEL is a very sensitive topic!!!

muchiko19 @yvonnero @helloicu well said. I think we should all be careful listing bags if we are not 100% authentic. Please have it authenticated before listing it. I have encountered a lot who swears authenticity as it was a gift by mother bf etc. I would be happy to report any that tries to pass on bags as fake. I've seen a lot here! I would say only 20-30% of Chanel bags here on bonz are real yikes! I'd be happy to help authenticate too so please feel free to tag me if you need help :)

Once I spent a fortune on a bag it made me mad to be standing @ the grocery next to some freak who had a fake & was trying to pass it as real. LOL Now it makes me even more mad because I see people claim to have real stuff to sell and it isn't and then people don't trust my stuff! It is so funny when I see $2,000 bags that are new and somebody is selling for $200 saying they don't know if it is authentic because it was a gift! I have seen that story line so many times & what makes it funnier is that I have a friend who actually does buy me $2k gifts & she would kill me if I sold them for $200!! 😳 Oh well... have a great night everyone.
