The author, a famous writer and one who reviewed the most American and foreign films and carried every detail in her head. Her reviews in the New Yorker were dazzling but short. So this book holds eight decades of film beginning with The Abdication (Liv Ullman 1974) to ZORRO The Gay Blade (George Hamilton 1981). The films are listed alphabetically not by date, so she goes way back into the 1920’s where the silent b and w films are. It is a great resource. 676 pages 10” x 8” x 2”. First Edition 1982.
