This is semi-opaque ruby that is carved in a decorative pumpkin shape and has a center hole so that it can be easily turned into jewelry. I have a few of these if you are interested in more of them for a project. They are so glowy and beautiful! You can see that it tests at emerald range which is 7-8. I was surprised that it registered at all because normally my diamond tester won't register on really natural stones. If you like minerals, this would be a great choice for any collector. It comes from Northern India, up close to Nepal.
