phoenix_55 Similar situation for me too. I’ll continue speaking out to have the shows moved to another platform. Keep posh as it used to be prior to the shows. I’m finding a lot of them are shady and you don’t really know what you’ll get. I purchased some jewelry items from a show recently and most of it was junk and damaged (not disclosed). I’m so over the shows.

cinderella927 @myzzbecca Sharing really helps keep your items at the top of the algorithm which is very helpful when people search. Very important how you list your item in the title. Always put the brand first!

sb2388 @cinderella927 I never knew to put the brand first! Thanks for that tip! My sales are down on here but I’m doing better on M now that they changed their fee structure. I’m selling triple the amount I am here. I had a lot of lowball offers on here and I found to counter my lowest and then if they low ball again I just decline.

jenn3981 @phoenix_55 i’ve done live shows… Just to boost sales. I don’t typically sell a lot during them, but it certainly affects the algorithm and helps my sales for weeks after. That being said, unless I’ve watched the show a lot or know the seller I’m not buying anything, because you’re right, you’re not sure about the quality.

shannonhm @myzzbecca I have never been a big seller lately I have sold more because I pay for the promoted closet but they have been some low offers but I have taken them anyway to move my items. I hate that I have to pay weekly to get buyers luckily it’s only $10 though.

jenn3981 @snazzyoffice so this is for a live show. You can click that button and it will go into their”tray choices.” Now there is a new feature where you don’t have to be part of the show in order for them to run it. Some show host will run if you’re not there others you have to be in the show. If it sells, you get the price you marked it for when you added to the show.

jenn3981 3/15/25 Morning! For those of you that watch the live shows - what do you think about the “sudden death” bidding feature? If the item is NWT I’m ok with it - but if not I hesitate to buy since I’m not sure if I’ve seen all the flaws/call outs. I haven’t done live shows for awhile. With working FT and this being my side hustle the time commitment is burdensome!

jenn3981 @shannonhm no that is called buy now. This is a feature where when the clock gets down to 10 seconds it doesn’t reset anymore (like it does currently with new bids and adds time). I haven’t done a live show since they started it, so I think it’s something you choose at the beginning of your show if you want to use it. But it’s not required. It does make the shows go pretty quickly, and lots of items are shown.

jenn3981 @myzzbecca sorry to hear it. I think (or so I’ve heard) sometimes the algorithm favors you and other times it doesn’t. Because my sales go up and down for no reason (and I am consistently listing/relisting and sharing).

shannonhm @jenn3981 I have noticed a lot more potentially fake accounts following me. They all seem to have similar account names and then the names don’t match the account names or even close. Also getting more Likes from some strange looking accounts. Could these be bots to make it look like I have more followers and likes?

sapurses I have been on Posh for quite a while so I feel confident saying it has not been this slow since Covid. I think Posh is trying to change up too much and too quickly and buyers are overwhelmed with all the “gimmicks”. I wish they would just go back to the old method of listing and selling ….no live shows, no liking items to win something, etc.

cinderella927 I think Posh is finally trying to get rid of bots that many people who hire virtual sharers use. The policy says "excessive" so I think for sellers like us we will be fine. Whenever a new feature is installed it effects the algorithmn and I notice a drop in traffic. I read a few articles that discussed if the tariffs are implemented more people may turn to sites like Posh.

shopwisteria @susanbowes You have to completely make a new listing. I use the phone app and copy onto notes and retake the screenshots. Don’t copy the listing . You want it to be a new listing.
