40s Strapless Brown Linen Dress w/ Pink & Turquoise Plaid Trim Matching Capelet This extraordinary 1940s handmade dress comes with a stunning matching capelet. The dress features a rich chocolate-brown bodice with an A-line silhouette and a vibrant plaid ruffle trim at the hem. The sweetheart neckline is accented by a delicate drawstring detail, and the spaghetti straps add an elegant touch. The accompanying capelet features a wide, structured collar and a single-button closure. This stunning set is from my personal collection. I’ve owned it for the better part of 30 years, and it has been carefully stored and cared for. Condition: Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. The dress has a tiny imperfection at the top of the bodice, likely from a dress clip (circled in photo) This is not visible when worn as it faces inward.
