Scratchbord is easier to scratch into for clean, crisp details and lines and unlike paper scratch boards, will not rip, tear, bend, or wrinkle. For added dimension, colored inks can be added to the white areas and then scratched again for additional highlights and volume. Unwanted scratch marks are repairable by simply reapplying India ink or Ampersand Scratchbord Claybord Black Repair Ink. Seal and frame your Scratchbord artwork without glass.
