4 Antique Charles Meigh & Son Flow Blue Athens Salad Plates ca 1835 - 1861 7"

Set of 4 antique Charles Meigh & Son flow blue salad plates in the Athens pattern. These are very dark blue almost to the point of appearing black. The embossed "Improved Stone China" mark on the back dates them to sometime between 1835 and 1861. Charles Meigh was a manufacturer of earthenware at the Old Hall Pottery in Hanley England. Each plate measures approximately 7" across. No chips or cracks noted. There is some discoloration and minor crazing in a few spots. See pictures for further details on condition.
