50-75 year old Kirk & Matz Carving Set from Sheffield, England. This lovely vintage carving set has 3 pieces: A 12" Carving blade on the knife, Carving Fork (approximately 14" long) which would hold down a large piece of meat, and a sharpening blade. The carving knife has prongs at the tip as well as a serated edge. All pieces have sturdy, staghorn handles. The case holding the set, I believe is wood with a paper-type covering. That covering is well worn, but the two metal latches work 100%. A beautiful focal point to any elegant occasion to WOW your guests and family!!
