#38 Pin Scotland Western Isles Hebrides

Na h-Eileanan Siar is an island chain off the west coast of Scotland. Previously, the area was in the Western Isles region (1975-1996). The Na h-Eileanan Siar council area includes areas that were once part of the counties of Inverness-shire and Ross and Cromarty. This area is also known as the Western Isles or the Outer Hebrides. I am not clear of the significance of the ship on this badge, unless it represents the Nordic colonization of the area. This pin has a safety pin-style back to it.
