We advise not to wear this in water because only gold jewelry (at least 14k) is resistant to oxidation and rust. :) Even 925 sterling silver jewelry has a chance to fade or oxidize because of copper that is usually used to make jewelry (for example, sterling silver is made from 92.5% silver, while the rest is copper or another base metal).
