Tony Bones is the Banksy of Dallas. His street art could be found on walls and rooftops throughout the city. These are photos of a sanctioned installation at an art school in East Dallas, near White Rock Skate, which is now gone. The art is also no longer on the walls, sadly. A piece of history! “It’s the stick figure's fault. The line drawing that's now gracing indoor walls across Texas was once more commonly seen on the sides of buildings, garage doors and warehouses. Bones spent his teenage years tagging Dallas with his signature style. Dallas has historically been known for its lax attitude toward graffiti, something that's changed drastically. “Graffiti reminds people there's life in the city," Bones says, "not just ads and commercialism."
